STROMNESS MINI TRIATHLON - 2025

Race Details The triathlon starts with a 400m swim at the Stromness swimming pool in Stromness. The cycle takes the competitors along an undulating course out of Stromness. Then the 3k run takes you on a out and back course up the main street of Stromness to a turn point, then back the same way to finish.

Team entries are welcome and actively encouraged from families, sporting clubs, workforces etc.
For teams of 2 or 3, entrants can be 15 years old to do the swim, bike or run sections of the race.  For safety reasons, Triathlon Scotland does not permit anyone under the age of 15 to take part the race.

The roads for both bike and run legs are open for this event. Participants are reminded that road safety and compliance with the highway code are their responsibility. Both bike and run routes will be marshalled and signposted.

REMEMBER - No bike helmet - No race!

Team/relay entries are actively encouraged. Please contact race organiser (details below) direct regarding team/ relay entry. 

This event is NOT chip-timed.

Results will be available on the day.

Race details:

Swim
400 metre pool swim - 5lanes, with swim waves and lanes organised according to anticipated times. Please be accurate with your swim time.

Cycle

The 10km cycle takes competitors on an undulating course out of Stromness. Course details to be confirmed on the club Facebook page prior to the event.

Run

The 3k run takes you on a out and back course through the streets of Stromness.
