Organiser's Description

An 11-12 mile route on paths, trails and open moorland

This route follows the high ground around Burrator Reservoir. We've all ran the road lap around but have you ever wondered as I have, what all the hill, peaks and tors surrounding are like, and even called? Well now is your opportunity.

With stunning views over the reservoir itself and more besides, this route climbs over 2000ft on good paths and some open moorland.

Park in the quarry carpark on the left on your approach to the dam, which is free, but no loos. They are down by the dam if you want to pop there first.

Join me for a slow adventure with lots of places to take photos, learn about the local history of the area and chat about running on Dartmoor.
