3rd year of this seasonal fun event, but a day earlier than tradition.

Timings:  Collect your race numbers from 18:30 inside the Plough & Harrow.  Mass start at 19:00.

Good news: The best fancy dressed runner choosen by our panel of amateur (at best) judges win a post run dessert !  NEW:  Trophies for best dressed 3 with the winner receiving a post run dessert.  For everyone else, simply hand in your race number post run behind the bar and claim a beer/wine/cola/coffee.

Bad news!  Those not taking part in Halloween fancy dress at all will incur a 5 minute time penalty.....that's one min per mile! 

Non afflitated England Athletics or Trail Runners Association runners pay an additional £2 levi.

This is a self navigated event following Strava GPX on your phone or watch. (In the reverse direction of the Friston Forest 5 route.)

There will be a written narrative to assist you to download from our website should you need it and a tail runner sweeping the course.  Majority of the run is in the countryside including forest, farm tracks and downlands.

What you need:  Head torch, mobile phone (ICE) and ideally trail running shoes under your Halloween themed fancy dress.

What you get:  Race number and a timed run, tail runner in case you get lost in the woods and an awesome halloween themed finishers medal  (And of course the drink mentioned above.) 

The venue we are using has a great menu for pre or post run food.....please pre-order your food before you set off and you won't be disappoined!

Event is timed but is aimed more at being a fun adventure in the dark then a competition.

As this is a self sufficent event, please take any other provisions with you, such as warm clothing etc.  (Layers work best for me as the conditions can vary from one side of the route to the other!)  There are a lot of hills, so you will warm up!  Previous years have been mild, so we won't judge you if some fancy dress items are taken off whilst out on course.

(18 years and older only as we are using a licensed premises as our start /finish venue.)
