Organiser's Description


Our Booomerang session, used at Duthie Park earlier in the year, returns to a different venue - Seaton Park. This workout involves running out in one direction, then boomeranging back to the point you started from. We will split into two groups of runners and each Group will set off in opposite directions, but will meet up again at the end of each rep. For the second set of reps, the Groups will swap direction.

We'll then finish off with a 'Run Until You Drop' speed game in which everyone tackles a 450 circuit. Every runner keeps going until everyone has completed four laps.

So, we will do TWO boomerang sets of:

3 x (1min out and 1 min back)

3 x (30secs out and back).

1 min recovery between reps.

2mins between sets

Don’t worry, we’ll explain how it works on the night!

Plus, of course, our usual warm-up and cool down routines.

This session is suitable for ALL runners.

We are a friendly group and always keen to help newcomers - so come along  - and bring a friend.

Coaching, encouragement and good advice will be on hand throughout.

There's ample free parking and our meeting point will be the car park inside SeatonPark.

Please arrive ready to start at 6pm. The whole session,including warm-ups/cool down and exercises, lasts one hour.
