GIRVAN HALF MARATHON

SUNDAY 14TH JULY 2024 AT 12 NOON

Starting point and registration:   Hamilton Park, Girvan, South Ayrshire, KA26 9HQ

Girvan Half Marathon is run over a country route, from Girvan to Dailly and back.  The course distance is measured and has a SAL Certificate of Accuracy.

The Girvan Half Marathon is run in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the sport's governing body - Scottish Athletics Limited (SAL).  SAL has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the Half Marathon must be over 17 years old on the day.
• The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted
• It is essential that the Race Organisers abide by these age requirments in order that the appropriate insurances are not compromised.

Enter online by Friday 12th July 2024.  Late entries will be accepted on the day if the maximum of 150 has not been reached.

No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.

Changing facilities including showers are available in the Hamilton Park Pavillion

There will be refreshments available for runners and families.

Finish:   As you finish you will be given a medal and refreshments.  Showers will also be available.

Prizes:   There are Trophies and cash prizes for Male & Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd,
              Veteran Male & Female 40, 50 & 60 Goodies and wine etc.

Prizes will be presented to the winners of various categories in Hamilton Park, soon after the race finishes.  Only one prize per person, the race commitee's decision is final.
