Follow the GPX/Strava file with an option download a route narrative.  Fun event rather than a competition, with the focus on Christmas social rudely interupted with running!

A pint/glass of wine or a softdrink at the Brewery checkpoint,

The same again in the Voodoo Kelle Bar at the finish, where you can upgrade to rum (inc mixer) should you wish! 

A bag of the best crisps know to mankind.

Christmas themed medals for all finishers.

As the event is in a licensed premises with alcohol, no under 18's allowed. No dogs other than our Barny in the rear seating area!

We will encourage fancy Christmas themed fancy dress.  Whoever we deem to be the best dressed wins free entry to the Summer version in 2026!

Compulsory equipment:  Take your mobile telephone with you ICE, with the same number you signed up with.

There are a wide range of public transport links to get you to the Voodoo Keller Bar.  Buses, trains, bicycles, hire scooters and walking.  There are local car-parks within a 2 minute walk too.  (DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE obviously!)  Find a nominated driver or use a nearby cab if you can't get home by other means.)

Register inside the Voodoo Keller Bar from 1200hours.  Run starts at 12:30.  Runners set off slowly climbing up the stairs out of the basement.

Check point 1 changes for 2025:  The tap room within the brewery.  Marshal will tick your arrival and issue you with a beer token.  Head to the bar and order yourself a pint/wine/soft-drink.

*You now have until the Tail Runner arrives and downs pint until you need to be on your merry way!  If you are a fast runner, you have time to relax. If your a slower runner, then you need to be a quicker drinker!

At the end of the course, be careful entering the Voodoo Keller Bar as it is down steps.  See the marshal to stop the clock.  Collect your medal and wear it everyday until Christmas morning.  Take your race number to the bar to claim another drink, this time it includes a sprit and a mixer.  

The new narrative has been added to the website, although this is a Strava/GPX based event with the narrative serving as a back up / confirmation you are going the right way!
