Race Description:

Ardgartan Trail Race is a 21mileish foot race held at Ardgartan Forest Park.

The route is 90% off road and will follow a loop of the Ardgartan Peninsula, with some tarmac, forestry trails and a nice open hill section across to Lochgoilhead before the climb back up to the Rest And Be Thankfull and the final downhill section to the finish. There will be hills and there will be waterfalls a plenty.

There will be 2 water station at 7miles and 13mile these are more for safety reason due to the time of year and possible poor weather.. Due to the limited parking at Ardgartan Car Park runners are asked to car share where possible. Information on addition parking to follow.

Runners will be required to carry manditory kit due to the time of year, which will be outlined in the race briefing sent out 3 weeks before the race. This will include a small first aid kit for running repairs. Runners are reminded to read and understand the full race briefing and should ask any question if they are any doubt about any information within "I didnt know" is not an excuse for being DQed.

Covid 19:

Rocket Events/Ardgartan Trail Race will be run under a Association of Running Clubs Licence which means we will be following all rules-protocol-processes and guidance for covid 19 if restriction are in place on race day. You are asked not to enter the event if you are unwilling to follow the rules-protocol-processes that are in place on race day.

These rules are in place to protect all (Runners and Marshals).

Refund Policy:

• Withdrawal within 30 days will results in a £15.00 administration fee been applied to procees refund.
• Withdrawal after 30 days and upto 12weeks before race day will result in a 50% refund.
• Withdrawal 0-12 week before race day will result 0% refund.
• No deferrals will be offered.
• No transfer of race places between runners.
