AQM 2026 - 3rd October Saturday 11 am 

Welcome back autumnal AQMers (hopefully less windy this year!). We apologise for the delay in entries opening, but life gets in the way sometimes! Do not forget the kids race ... Www.kiddython.co.uk (entries open soon)

This year we are raising funds for our main charity, Ed Slater the Gloucester rugby player who has MND and established 4ED to raise funds to help combat this horrible condition. It is a cause close to the hearts of many at the AQM . We also support 3 local village community organisations providing much needed funds (our hosts the Cricket Club, the Deerhurst Playing Fields and the local primary school, whose pupils do our direction signs!)

The AQM, started in 1983 and hopefully will be there in 2083! If you have run before there will be  the normal AQM bits'n'bobs  (cakes, craft medals, golden tickets, countryside counter, historic churchyards, Bar and BBQ etc) andI hope you will be there too! Fancy dress, childrens TV characters (Mr Benn, Dangermouse et al), is always encouraged! Anyone wanting to sponsor race, help with jams/ pickles (empty jars always welcome) , marshalling etc please let me know!

The Kiddython which raises funds for the local school starts at 10:25 ish and is approximately 1 km. Entry details to follow with the 2 Frans!

 Thank you for support over the years, the running community really is a lovely group. Next year we hope to have new management!
