Elan Valley 10 Mile Road Race

Our 10 mile road race is back once again! Join us for our iconic event, taking in a scenic, challenging loop of Elan Valley and the surrounding area.

All participants must be over the age of 17 on race day with entry fees of £15 for Welsh Athletics affiliated runners and £17 for non affiliated runners. Rhayader Running Club members will have an extra £3 discount. There is a small booking charge.  UKA Race Licence applied for. 

This year we are using chip timing to ensure accurate and quick results. All runners will recieve a race memento (details soon).

Registration and race HQ will be at Elan Valley Visitors Centre with just a 5 minute walk to the start line. Parking, cafe and toilet facilities are available at the Visitor Centre as well as toilet facilities a short walk away in Elan Village. 

Entries close midnight on 23rd November 2022. There are just 200 places available so don't miss out!  Race day information will be emailed out to all participants before the race. Collect your race numbers and timing chips at the registration desk.

This race is part of the East Wales Championships, there will be an option to sign up during the entry process.

All running abilities are welcome however the course is undulating and unsuitable for wheelchair athletes. We will ask you for a predicted race time on registration, this is to help us plan locations and timing of our volunteers. If you anticipate being over two hours, we are offering an earlier start time at 12.30pm. Please let us now at registration.

Once entered there are no cancellations or deferrals. If you wish to transfer your place to another runner you can do so via your Entry Central login before 23rd November 2023.
