Hereford Triathlon Club Pool Swimming
General guidance:
The swimming sessions take place at Hereford Swimming Pool on Tuesday evenings (coached) and on Sunday afternoons (open swim). They are for members only and numbers are limited.
For Tuesday evening swims, you'll be asked for your pod colour when you book. Please use these colours for your 400m CSS time (hard training pace). If you're not sure, don't worry, as the coaches can always move you to a different lane.
Sub 6 minutes - red
6 to 6:30 - purple
6:30 to 7 - pink
7 to 7:30 - maroon
7:30 to 8 - green
8 to 8:30 - blue
8:30 to 9 - orange
9 to 10 - yellow
plus 10 minutes - gold
For our members aged 18 or younger, we need written permission from your parent or guardian to say that you are able to attend the sessions. An email is fine.
Your details will be stored securely in accordance with data protection regulations.
Please do not attend the sessions if you are feeling unwell, if you have a high temperature or if you are self-isolating.
There will not be an opportunity to just turn up and swim. The coaches will have to turn you away if you do so.
We will have 6 lanes containing up to 5 swimmers each, grouped according to ability. If this is your first session, please contact the club via email in advance for advice on which lane you should attend if you're not sure. We ask that you're able to swim at least 100m freestyle at any pace before you attend a coached session.
Bookings and payment will be done online and in advance via Entry Central for both the Tuesday and Sunday sessions.
