Templeton Trail Race

RACE STARTS AT 7pm
Race Numbers to be collected on the day.
Registration will be open from 5.30pm at the Templeton Woods Visitor Centre , where numbers can be picked up for those who have pre-entered. If there are fewer than 200 pre-entries then a limited amount of on-the-day entries will be available.
The START: This will be on the main path between the car park and the visitors centre
Changing: Changing facilities are extremely limited so please arrive ready to run. There are no showers available. There will be a room available to leave kit in, but the organisers will not accept responsibility for loss of, or damage to belongings left there. .
Car Parking: Please car share where possible as there will be no parking at the Visitors Centre but limited car parking available at the Clatto Centre (where we hold our 10 mile race), but parking is available on the approach road. Please follow the directions given by the car parking stewards and please have consideration for the local residents. You can also park in Camperdown park and jog over to the start which would be around a mile.
Route The route is approximately 5.5 miles in and around Templeton Woods and will be marked with tape and flour and marshals at the route junctions.
First Aid: St Andrews First Aid will provide First Aid cover on the day.
The Finish is at the side of the Visitor Centre on the trails nearest Templeton Road.
Refreshments: Hot and cold drinks will be available in the visitors Centre, and our wonderful spread will be available at the picnic area.
Results: Results will be published via various facebook sites etc about 48 hours after the race and our website and Scottish Athletics website within a week of the race
Prizes: It is hoped to start the presentations at about 8.00pm in front of the visitors centre, Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Male & Female 1-3, M & F Vets’s (40’s) 1-3, M&F Vets (50’s) winners, M&F Vet’s (60’s) winners, M&F Vet’s (70’s) winners.
If you failed to fill in your age on the entry form you are classed as aged 20-39. If you fail to list a club, you will be assumed to be unattached and not eligible for any team prizes.
Transfer of entries/Deferrals: We will allow entries to be transferred (these must be done through the organisers) up until our closing date of 31st May 2019. There will be no refunds or deferrals.
