Timings: Collect your race numbers from 18:30 inside the Plough & Harrow. Mass start at 19:00.
This is a self navigated event following Strava GPX on your phone or watch.
There will be a written narrative to assist you to download from our website should you need it and a tail runner sweeping the course. Majority of the run is in the countryside including forest and downlands.
What you need: Head torch, mobile phone (ICE) and ideally trail running shoes.
What you get: Race number, event beaney hat, bottle of water (if you require it at the start.) and when you hand your race number in behind the bar you get a pint/wine/hot drink or soft drink in return! £2 of your entry fee is donated to the Rockinghorse children's charity. Please feel free to raise additional sponsorship. The venue we are using has a great menu for pre or post run food.....
Event is timed but is aimed more at being an adventure in the dark then a competition.
As this is a self sufficent event, please take any other provisions with you, such as warm clothing etc. (Layers work best for me as the conditions can vary from one side of the route to the other!) There are a lot of hills, so you will warm up!
(18 years and older only as we are using a licensed premises as our start /finish venue.)
