Welcome! We hope you will join us for this 7 mile trail race held over a fun course within the beautiful carron valley forestry.

Race date and time: Saturday 24th August 2024 at 9am

Location: This 7 mile trail race is open to runners of all abilities. It follows an undulating course of forestry tracks. The race commences within the Carron Valley Forestry site, which is located in Stirlingshire off the B818 Denny to Fintry road. The route follows a loop up towards Meikle Bin before veering off to twist back down towards the carron reservoir, finishing close to the car park area. There is an event happening on the forestry site, at Duncarron Fort on the same morning so we have altered the previous finish area slightly to avoid this.

Registration: is from 7:30am. Car parking is available within Carron Valley Forestry. Charges of up to £3 may apply. Registration will be sign posted and takes place near to the forestry car park. Registration closes 15 minutes before the start of the race.  The start is about 100m from the registration area. Public toilets are available near to the car park and a portaloo will be available beside the registration tent.

Photos: photographers will be situated throughout the course. By entering the race participants agree to photos being posted on the race Facebook page and race website following the event.

Entry Fees: £17 / £15 (SAL). Withdrawals prior to the race being full will be offered a full refund. Once the race is full, no refunds will be offered (full entry fee is donated to the charities).

Race limited to 250 runners

Results: The race is chip timed with results being logged on the Tom Robb Memorial Trail Race website.

The ever popular cake stall will be in place with donations going to Alzheimer Scotland so bring some change!
