East End Road Runners Midsummer 5km Run (part of ELVIS series)
21 Jun 18
A 2-lap, chip timed, 5km road race starting at the Olympic rings and passing many of the iconic venues in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The race is organised by East End Road Runners - a local community-based running club.
The race will have a very friendly atmosphere and all participants and their friends and families are invited to attend a mid-summer party with 2-for-1 drinks (limited menu) at Village Vanguard a bar situated in the East Village very close to the start/finish point. It was a great success last year and we hope to see even more people turn out to celebrate the longest day of the year this time around.
This race is the third leg of the 2018 East London V Interclub Series (ELVIS), see: http://www.elvisraces.club/. The race is open to members of running clubs already affiliated to the ELVIS series, members of other running clubs and members of the general public.
Entries in advance please. No exchanges. No entries on the day.
Race numbers will be issued on the day – from 6.30pm to 7.20pm.
