The Gent's Senior Strokeplay Open, scheduled in 2023 for Wednesday 16th August, is always polular with visitors from Glasgow and Central Scotland.  Situated slightly off the beaten track, the Balmore Club has excellent parking facilities, a well stocked Professional shop, comfortable changing rooms, a well appointed bar area and splendid catering services.

Entry is open to Gents aged 55 on the day of the competition with a maximum allowable Handicap Index of 32.

When completing the Entry Form you will be offered four time-ranges within which we will allocate your actual Tee time.  You will receive an initial email confirming you are placed on a "Wait-List".  At this stage no payment will have been taken from your card.  The Competition Manager will allocate a suitable Tee Time, (he/she will contact you if there is any "difficulty" in doing this), then approve the entry.  You will receive a second email to confirm the entry is actioned together with the Tee time you have been allocated.

We recommend you plan to arrive at least 40 minutes before your scheduled Tee time in order to allow yourself adequate time to park, assemble your equipment, check-in at the Club House, perhaps have a coffee and snack, change to play and get the feel of the excellent greens on the practice area before arriving on the first tee relaxed and ready to "shoot-low".
