Edinburgh#3 Triathlon Junior October Camp 2026

Saturday 10th to Sunday 11th October AND Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th October

Edinburgh#3 Triathlon are excited to announce their October junior camp.  The camp is suitable for anyone interested in trying a multisport event for the first time, or indeed anyone who has already completed triathlons, but would like some company training during the holidays.

The camp runs over 4 days at ESM Sports Centre, Queensferry Road, Edinburgh, and the sessions will be delivered by experienced professional triathlon coaches, all of whom are PVG registered. 

The camp is open to anyone aged between 8 and 16 (as of 31/12/26) who can swim front crawl continuously with their head in the water for at least 2 lengths.  Your child must also have a bike they can ride and a well-fitted helmet is mandatory.

Each day the athletes will be swimming (pool), cycling and running, using games and activities with the emphasis on fun. 

Days 1-3 will be a mixtrue of swim/bike/run and day 4 will be "Event Day"! On this day you can put all your multisport skills to the test and complete a mini triathlon - pool swim, followed by a static bike cycle on poolside and finally a run outdoors!

On completion, a goody bag will be yours and we hope you might even join us again for some more triathlon fun in the future!

The cost of the camp is £30.00 for four action packed days.

Key Information  (full information will be emailed to all participants in advance of the camp).

1. Days 1-3, start (drop off) 10-10.15am and finish at 3.30pm (sharp). Day 4 will run from 2-5.00pm
2. Your bike should be in good working order and a well fitting helmet is mandatory.  
3. Juniors need to bring all their swim, bike and run gear each day. Waterproof kit is essential. 
4. Juniors will need a snack, a packed lunch and a water bottle each day.
5. If you are unable to attend the camp, we will offer a refund only if we fill your child's place.
