Organiser's Description
Welcome to the Inaugural Dargavel 5KM road race bought to you by Dargavel and Bishopton Run Club.
Dargavel and Bishopton Run Club is a newly established run club within Dargavel and Bishopton, founded by two local business owners who came together uniting their passion for community and individual progression. The club was immediately welcomed by the fantastic running community within the villages and has already gone from strength to strength within its first few months. The club also operates a couch to 5k programme bringing non runners through the 9 week course before integrating them into the run club and the structured coached sessions, providing a supportive pathway throughout. The goal of the club is to provide a legacy for the villages to help people become active and be part of a newly thriving community.
