Following the popular Croome Capability Canter, the Black Pear Joggers will be returning on Monday 11th August for a fun 6 mile run, with cake and tea/coffee after.

The route follows much of the original Croome Capability Canter route, avoiding the wooded areas, but taking in a section around the lake and over the bridge to the Island Pavilion. The uphill start will be avoided, you may be pleased to know!

The event is not timed and is more of a group run rather than a race, but you are free to run as fast as you like and time the run yourself. Please bring spare clothes/shoes and warm layers to change into after as it will be cold and muddy in places, and potentially wet underfoot. There will be refreshements provided afterwards. Any donations of cake will be welcomed. 

Profits raised from the event will be given to the National Trust, to help maintain Croome Park.

Please ensure you arrive by 6 pm for a pre-run safety briefing, and ensure you bring a working head torch.

For runners wishing to run a shorter distance, there is a 3-mile and 5 mile cutoff.
