Croome Christmas Night Time Canter

19 Dec 18

Croome Christmas Night Time Canter has now closed and you will not be able to sign-up for it. Please check the Organiser's Description for any organiser updates.
This event is in a testing state, and is not open for public sign-ups until the organiser has launched it.

Organiser's Description

Following the popular Croome Capability Canter, the Black Pear Joggers will be returning after sunset on Wednesday 19th December for a fun 6 mile head torch run, with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie after.

First 26 entrants: Will also receive one of the Croome 2018 bespoke medals from the November race for taking part. ** ALL 26 TAKEN NOW **
View the medal.

The route follows much of the original Croome Capability Canter route, avoiding the wooded areas, but taking in a brand new section around the lake and over the bridge to the Island Pavilion. The uphill start will be avoided, you may be pleased to know! View the route.

Proceeds will be donated to the National Trust to help maintain the grounds.

The event is not timed and more of a group run rather than a race, but you are free to run as fast as you like and time the run yourself. Please bring spare clothes/shoes and warm layers to change into after as it will be cold, muddy in places and potentially wet underfoot.

Please ensure you arrive by 6:45pm for a pre-run safety briefing and ensure you bring a working headtorch.

For runners wishing to run a shorter distance, there is a 3 mile and 5 mile cut off.
