Organiser's Description

It has been a difficult year for everyone but with restrictions beginning to ease we are now setting our sights on the year ahead and what we hope can be the biggest comeback our sport has ever seen!  As part of the Big Reboot we are hosting a number of local participation opportunities for new and existing triathletes across the country to get involved in swim, bike, run.

This is the sign up page for The Big Reboot - East Lothian, to see details of other dates and locations, please click here.

The sessions will be delivered within Scottish Government, sportscotland and British Triathlon guidelines with physical distancing and enhanced hygiene measures in place, including:

  • All attendees will be required to submit a health declaration form prior to attending, which can be shared upon request with the NHS Test and Protect service
  • Face coverings are required throughout, except by participants while they are taking part
  • Hand sanitisation stations will be available
  • Participants will be started one at a time (time trial format) to ensure physical distancing can be maintained throughout
  • There will be no group briefing on the day - please ensure you have read the pre-event information carefully
  • There will be no bag drop or changing area - please only bring what you need. You will be able to leave a small amount of items in your transition (changeover) space if required

While the session will simulate a race, it is designed to be informal and non-competitive. As such, there is no chip timing but we will attempt to give you a manual time on completion of the course. Please feel free to use personal watches for more accurate timing. These sessions are open to Triathlon Scotland members only - you can renew or join today using the link below.
