Benarty Gala Trail Race

SUNDAY 30th JUNE - Race starts at 11.00am

FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY..!

Please stay on after the race and enjoy the Gala Day fun in the park. There will be loads going on including the Gala Day Parade, Pipe Bands, Childrens Rides & Craft Stalls - A Great Day Out!

RACE HQ - Bib number pick-up, toilets & cafe at the Willie Clarke Visitior Centre. 

RACE ROUTE - The race is approx. 5 miles in distance and will start & finish near to the Lochore Meadows parkrun finish area. The route will follow the trail around the southern shores of the loch with stunning views of the Benarty Hill and the loch itself. The route then heads up into Harran Hill Woods for a loop around the woodland paths before returning back alongside the loch to where the race started. 

PLEASE NOTE - Sections of the race route can get muddy in places. We would recommend wearing trail shoes especially if the ground conditions are wet.

BLING! - ALL FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A RACE MEDAL

PRIZES - 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall males and females. Also male & female 1st Over 40, 1st Over 50, 1st Over 60 & 1st over 70.

AWARDS FOR LOCAL RUNNERS - There will be awards for the first 3 local male & female runners (must reside in the Benarty area)

**WATER** - The race organiser is unable to provide any drinks. Entrants must provide their own drinks. 

CAFE - Please support the cafe at the Willie Clarke Visitor Centre which will be serving hot & cold drinks, snacks & hot filled rolls.

CHANGING FACILITIES - There will be no changing facilities. Please come ready to run.

BAGGAGE - There is no official baggage storage. Any baggage left at the start/finish area is left entirely at your own risk.

RACE RESULTS - Race results will be posted online after the race.

Number pick-up, toilets, cafe and car parking all within the Lochore Meadows Country Park

IMPORTANT - Under NO circumstances whatsoever should you run with another person's bib number. This is a strict requirement.

Please be respectful and considerate to all competitors, race officials, volunteers and members of the general public.

Our events are insured and permitted by the Governing Body Association of Running Clubs and are held Under ARC Rules.

ENTRY FEE : £11.00 

SORRY NO ENTRY FEE REFUNDS OR DEFFERALS - We will however allow number transfers up until 7 days before the date of the race. All transfer details should be arranged between the runners involved before notifying the Race Organiser of ALL CHANGES.
