Auchterarder 10K in association with Gleneagles.
Saturday 8th September 2018.
Starting at 10.30am.
A very warm welcome to the first ever Auchterarder 10K 2018 in association with Gleneagles (The Gleneagles Hotel) and organised by Five Star Active (www.facebook.com/fivestaractive). This event is part of the Auchterarder Running Festival.

Please note –Runners must be aged 17 or above on the day of the race. Headphones on this course are NOT allowed (although bone conduction headphones are permitted). Before entering, please note the race entry terms and conditions.
Entry Fee – £20 (plus entry central administration fees). Online entry only. Online entries will close on 3rd September or when race limit is met. There will be no entries on the day. In the unlikely event of the race being cancelled owing to forces outside the organisers control, we regret that NO entry fees can be refunded after entries have been processed. We do not operate a deferment system. We will offer the following - 50% refunds (minus EntryCentral processing fees) will be issued to any runner who withdraws from the event more than 12 weeks before the event. Refunds will only be given if the event is full and the runners place can be filled from the waiting list. Withdrawals after that date will not be refunded.
Registration – All runners must register to collect their number and timing chip. Registration will take place at The Gleneagles Arena, The Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder, Perthshire, PH3 1NF and will open at 9am and close at 10.15am. For safety reasons please do not swap numbers with other runners. Please ensure personal details are entered onto the back of the number.
Baggage - Unsecured baggage storage will be available at The Gleneagles Arena. The race organisers take no responsibility for any items stored before, during or after the race.
Race Briefing – There will be a race safety brief emailed out to all runners the week before the event to go over any safety issues and give the opportunity for runners to ask any questions.
Warm Up – There will be a fun group warm up starting at 10.20am.
Start time – The race will start prompt 10.30am at The Gleneagles Arena.
Race Route - The race route is a Five Star scenic route all the way on pavements, paths and roads. It will start at The Gleneagles Hotel and make its way down the iconic hotels drive before heading into Auchterarder using the recently upgraded network of paths before heading back to Gleneagles.
Please follow all instructions from our race marshalls as they are there to ensure your safety.
The spectacular race route will be emailed out to all runners prior to the race and will also be on the facebook page.
There will be a cut off at 1hr 45mins for this race.
Water Stops – There will be a water stop at approximately mile 3. Water will be provided by Highland Spring.
Race Finish - The race will finish at The Gleneagles Arena where your family, friends and supporters can come along and cheer you across the finish line. There will be refreshments, treats and post race massage available within our finishers market arena for all runners and their supporters. Goody Bag – This is a goody bag not to be missed! All runners will receive a quality technical T shirt and a bespoke Auchterarder 10K medal. We can also guarantee that there will be other fantastic goodies inside your finishers goody bag. Prize Giving – Prize giving will commence as early as possible but we plan to get the show on the road by 12noon approx.
Race Limit – 500 runners.
Car Parking – There is ample and convenient car parking at The Gleneagles Arena. Stewards will help you on the day.
Toilets – Are available at The Gleneagles Arena.
