The race will be timed by Perfect Timing, please arrive in good time to collect your race number.  

Entries close on 14th September or when limit is reached.    This race is a certified 10 mile course and is a Scottish Athletics licensed event conducted under UK Athletics Rule.  UK ATHLETICS RULE STATE THAT FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS, HEADPHONES MUST NOT BE WORN DURING THE RACE. RUNNERS RISK DISQUALIFICATION IF THIS RULE IS IGNORED.

The race is on the road that goes round the island, the B896, and goes in an anti-clockwise direction.  It is very flat apart from a slope very near the end!  There is a regular ferry service from Largs pier and the journey takes a little over 10 minutes(www.calmac.co.uk/timetables).  A bus to Millport meets every ferry.  Free refreshments after the race and medals to all finishers.

Changing and toilets are at the tbc for men and the Drop-in Centre in College Street for women. 

This race incorporates the Ayrshire 10 mile championship.  Medal for all finishers.

Age Group Categories:
Male: 18-39, at least 40, at least 50, at least 60, at least 70.
Male Team: 1st Team (4 to count).
Female: 18-39, at least 40, at least 50, at least 60, at least 70.
