Aberavon Surf Lifesaving Club, in conjunction with Port Talbot Harriers and Welsh Triathlon, are pleased to welcome you to the inaugural
Aberavon Surf Lifesaving Club Junior Aquathlon
to be held on Saturday 26th July 2025 at Aberavon Beach.
A new swim-run event held on Aberavon Beach. Open to age groups from TriStar 2 up to Junior. The event will be a beach start with the swim held in sheltered open water with a raised pier for spectators. The run element is a flat coastal run.
The event distances are
- TriStar 2/3 (Ages 11-14) will have a 300m swim followed by a 1200m run
- Youth A/B & Junior (Ages 15-19) will have a 600m swim followerd by a 2000m run
The event is running alongside the GV 70.tri middle distance triathlon and Teleri Tens Mini Miler event, therefore there is something available to all ages and abilities on the day. Parking (both free and paid) is available nearby along with toilet facilities and refreshments.
Timeline of the day will be
- 0800 - Registration
- 0900 - Race Briefing
- 0925 - Race Start

To sign-up for this event, the Service Fee is 4% (min 50p) for each sign-up
A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not a British Triathlon Home Nation member. For this event, Race Pass costs are £2.00 (plus £0.08 service charge) for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 (plus £0.32 service charge) otherwise.
