Charity Trail 'Zach's Heavenly Steps' 

Hosted at The Zach Willsher Pub from 10:30am.

Two routes of 5.7 or 12 ish miles approx (undulating).

Money raised will be donated to Macmillan

I would like to invite you to my charity walk/run

Written narrative instructions, no mass start, no marked route and no marshals. You can start from anytime from 10:30 am till 12:30pm. You will be handed written instructions to follow, you'll be timed out then back in. Any questions then just ask, we are very happy to help!

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, trail running is an experience like no other.

Time to ditch the pavement and immerse yourself in the great outdoors, surround yourself amongst tress, sounds of nature and breath in the fresh air. You’ll tackle some roads (sorry just to get you to the parks), tracks, footpaths and bridleways through lovely parks and woodland surrounding Benfleet.

Trail running isn’t just about pushing yourself physically, it’s also a chance to connect with nature to clear your mind. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you’re looking for a solo adventure or with friends, trail running offers something for everyone.

Footwear suitable for off road running is strongly advised.

Please note there will be a water station at about 6 miles for the 12 mile route, however no water stations for the shorter route.  Details will be highlighted within the instructions.

Please keep an eye out for a final email which will be sent out a few days before the race. This will include any new safety information to keep you and others safe and any updates that may occur.

The maximum distances for young trail runners are: Under 12 3km, U14 5km, U16 6km, U17 10km, U18 25km, U20 40km
