The WitchWood Trail Run
Between 1640 and 1690, Inverkip (in the West of Scotland) was a center for witch trials. This is where Scottish witch trial history meets endurance running.
The WitchWood Trail Run is an endurance challenge designed for everyone - from beginner to seasoned ultra runner. Complete as many laps as you want in 24 hours through the mystical WitchWood.
Start, stop, and rest whenever you choose.

Format
Up to 24 hours of laps. Run at your pace
As many loops as you can
Run laps at your own pace - stop for a rest, or to call it a day, anytime. Then join the party for food, refreshments, a beer or a natter with fellow runners
Rest when you need - take breaks between laps to eat, sleep, or recover. Toilets, showers, outside mains water and even beds on site at base camp!
Stop anytime - you decide when you've had enough. Do as many or as few laps as you want in 24 hours

Basecamp Facilities
Pitch your tent at Everton Scout Camp with full on-site facilities including kitchen, showers, toilets, coffee & water supplied throughout the event. Runners and supporters can camp overnight.
Stunning Terrain
Experience beautiful Scottish forest trails with technical sections, rolling hills, and breathtaking views throughout the ~5.6km loop.
Festival Atmosphere
Enjoy local food suppliers, live music, and our legendary epic firepit creating a vibrant family-friendly running festival vibe.
Everyone Welcome
Families, friends, children and supporters are warmly encouraged to come along, enjoy the festival, and support runners throughout the day.
