We've worked hard and listened to our fellow triathletes - so we've kept our cost of entry low and will be considering our environmental impact when organising, setting up and running our event. There will be no goodie bags, but every finisher will receive a medal made from recyclable material and there will be a sustainable prize for 1st place in the following categories:
- Sprint: Open / Female / Vet Open / Vet Female / Super Vet Open / Super Vet Female
- Super Sprint: Open / Female
- Relay: Open / Female / Mixed
- Club: Combined score taking into account number of participants and individual ranking
If you are a Para triathlete and want to join our event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll work with you to ensure we are supporting your race experience with us.
As part of our event, we’ve decided to give you an option to donate to Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), a cause close to our hearts. In Autumn 2022 one of our much-loved, long-standing members, George Peasgood, was involved in a freak cycling accident. We are all immensely thankful to the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff at Addenbrooke’s Hospital who, together with the incredible emergency services, helped to save his life. This is our way of saying thank you.
We're really looking forward to you joining us for our 23rd Walden Triathlon (WT23) event.
