                                                        Our Trailspire Ultra is back!

Trailspire Ultra 2027 has some big things cooking — innovative ideas, new directions, and a few surprises we are keeping secret for now. What is coming next is our most ambitious work yet.

We have kept the same route as this year. Feedback from our athletes were that they really liked the newly re-designed route and we have listened so we have changed our event back to our 7 hour format. The route was created by our very own 2025 Scottish Ultra Trail winner Stuart Paterson.

“Find your Path & Go Beyond!!!

The Trailspire Ultra is a 7‑hour endurance challenge set in the beautiful grounds of Callander Park, Falkirk. This event invites runners of all abilities to take on a scenic, supportive, looped course.

The route features rolling trails, woodland paths, and the stunning backdrop of Callander House, Falkirk.

Your goal is simple:

Complete as many laps of the 4.14‑mile course (with 277 ft of elevation) as you can in 7 hours and/or use the last hour to head onto the smaller faster 1km flat route. Whatever way you decide to run it, you need to complete the final lap for it to count. If you do not cross the timing mat at 3pm it will all have been for nothing! It is your choice.

Whether you are chasing a distance goal or just enjoying the atmosphere, you choose how far you run.

Run for the full 7 hours or stop whenever you feel you want to stop — no judgement here. Whenever you finish you still deserve to receive that finishers medal. You have well & truly earned this.

Aim for a half marathon, full marathon, an ultra-distance, or simply see how far your legs will take you.
