TETSWORTH 10K 2026

2026 sees the return of the Tetsworth 10k a popular race starting from Tetsworth Social Club. 
 

Race information;

Race Date: Sunday 20th September 2026

Start Time: 10.30am - Chip timed race

Entries:  Adults - £18.00 – Affiliated / £20.00 – Unattached. 

Juniors - £6.00 (Juniors are classed as U18s on the day of the event)

Race Limit 200. Minimum age 15 on day of event. 

Race HQ: Tetsworth Sports and Social Club. Marsh End, Tetsworth, OX9 7AU.

Parking: Off street parking is available near the Social Club.

Facilities: Toilets and changing areas available on site. 

Refreshments: There will water stations throughout the course and refreshments available to purchase from the social club.

First Aid: Full medical event cover will be in place.

Distance/Terrain: 10km – 6.2miles

Course Details: The route is a rural undulating course along country roads, starting and finishing on the village green, full map to follow. Full UK Athletics race licence.

Number Collection: All bibs will be available for collection from race HQ between 9.00am and 10.00am.

Chip Timing: The race is run with reusable chips; these are worn on your ankle and will be handed out with your number. Chips and ankle bracelets will be collected in at the end, failure to do so may occur and additional charge.

Prizes: Every finisher will receive a race memento and in addition the following prizes will be awarded after the race

Male and Female Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed

1^st placed V35+ female and 1^st placed V40+ male.

1^st placed male and female villager.

Terms And Conditions

By signing up each individual agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1.       As an England Athletics affiliated organiser (7693574) this event is to be held under UK Athletics rules with a full race license. The individual agrees to abide by the rules of the event and that the officials' decision is final.

2.       Strictly NO HEADPHONES to be worn throughout the race other than bone conducting headphones. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

3.       The provided number race bibs will be worn by all competitors, always ensuring visible. Race numbers must not be cut or folded.

4.       The individual confirms that they have no medical disability that would endanger themselves or others by taking part (and will not run if unfit to do so on the day).

5.       The individual understands that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or illness howsoever caused as a result of entering the race.  The individual agrees that during the race they will obey marshals' instructions. No dogs will be allowed on the course.

6.       If for any reason beyond the control of the organisers the race has to be cancelled on the day (Adverse weather, “Act of god”, Flooding, Accidents, Incidents, COVID-19 restrictions etc) the organisers will do everything possible to reschedule the race.

7.       Entries cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled. At the organisers discretion you may be able to transfer to the following year. Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of an Event will be limited to the refund as set out in these terms and conditions. We will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of our negligence or other breach of statutory duty

8.       Transfers - Race place transfers are only available until 15^th January 2027 and must be requested via Entry Central’s “Change Person Request”

9.       All entrants shall be deemed to have made themself familiar with and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK. For added clarification, the date of entry is the date of the event

10.   The Organiser reserves the right to alter the course, start time, or event format if necessary for safety or operational reasons. Reasonable effort will be made to inform competitors of any changes as soon as possible.

11.   Personal information provided during entry will be used for event administration and timing. Participant names, club details, categories, and finish times may be published publicly in start lists and results. Data will be handled in accordance with relevant data protection legislation.

12.   By entering, you consent to your image being used for event promotion and publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must inform the Organiser in advance. The organiser and event partners may take photos and videos during the event.
