The SURLY100 2026

04 Jul 2026 - 05 Jul 2026

Organiser's Description

SURLY100 2026 – A Weekend of Bikepacking Bliss

Dates: 4–5 July 2026
Location: Buckshead Farm Campsite, Cotswolds

Following the success of the 2025 edition, the SURLY100 returns in 2026 for another unforgettable weekend of off-road adventure, camaraderie, and bikepacking freedom.

This two-day event is all about enjoying the ride, soaking up the scenery, and embracing the journey. No racing, no pressure – just good trails, great company, and the satisfaction of carrying what you need for a couple of days on your bike.

Buckshead Farm remains our basecamp – a welcoming hub nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, serving as both the start and finish each day.

We’re keeping things light and low-key. Ride at your own pace, stop when you fancy, and take in the beautiful places you pass through. Whether you're rolling solo or sharing the miles with mates, the SURLY100 is all about the ride, the vibes, and the memories you’ll make along the way.

Event Information

📍 Start & Finish:
Buckshead Farm Campsite, Gloucester – our home for the weekend and the start/finish point for both days. Full location details below.

ENTRY FEE:

£95: includes -

  • Camping Saturday night.

  • Tea/coffee/snack at the start.

  • Feast Saturday night.

  • Breakfast Sunday Morning.

EXTRA Nights - £12 per night, per pitch, for extra nights (Friday/Sunday)

🚴 Format:
A two-day bikepacking adventure, covering 50 miles each day. You’ll carry your gear on your bike, returning to basecamp each evening to relax and recharge.

🌿 Terrain:
Expect a classic Cotswolds mix – woodland singletrack, gravel trails, country lanes, flowing descents, and maybe even a splash of mud. It’s varied, scenic, and never dull. Larger tyres mean more comfort, just sayin.

📍 Navigation:
You’ll be navigating by GPS device or phone, so make sure you’ve got your route loaded and your battery topped up!

Start Time:
We roll out at 9:00 AM on Saturday, 4th July.
No racing, no rush – but we do ask everyone to be on the trail by 9:15 AM.

🗺 The Routes:
100 miles total – split over two enjoyable days:

  • Day 1: The more challenging day, with plenty of variety to test your legs and keep things fun.

  • Day 2: Introduced in 2025, the route features “The Dunc” – a nod to Duncan Kennedy, who inspired this segment before sadly passing in July 2024. It’s now a special part of the ride, dedicated to his memory.

📩 GPX Files:
Route details and downloadable GPX files will be emailed to all riders one week before the event.

🍺 Alternative Route (a.k.a. Chilled Option):
Had enough after Day 1? No problem. Kick back at the campsite, grab a cold one, and cheer on (or heckle) the riders heading out for Day 2. Whether they come back smiling or suffering is up to them!
