Registration in the crush area at Picky Centre from 9:00am - 9:45am

Starting point and registration : The Pickaquoy Centre, Muddisdale Road, Kirkwall, KW15 1LR

The event will be run over a route made up of local roads and pathways. It is a 4 lap circuit. Starting and finishing at the Pickaquoy Centre 

The event is run in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the sport's governing body - Scottish Athletics Federation. SAF has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the Half Marathon must be over 17 years old on the day.
• The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted. 
• It is essential that the Race Organisers abide by these age requirements in order that the appropriate insurances are not compromised.

**There are medals for everyone at the finish.**

If for any reason you are unable to run your number can be transferred to another runner up until Sunday 9th August 2026, please contact the race organiser through the email address below providing details of the new runner. No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.

Changing facilities, including showers are available in the Pickaquoy Centre.
