Stromness 10K Event

Saturday 25th July 2026 - 11.00am

Starting point and registration: The Ferry road, next to Ferry terminal.

Entry cost:  £6 OARC members £3 OARC/SA

 £11 Non members £8 with SA membership

The Stromness 10K will be run over a route made up of local roads.

The Stromness 10K Event is run in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the sport's governing body - Scottish Athletics Federation. SAF has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the event must be over 15 years old on the day.
• The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
• Running with buggies or pets is not permitted. 
• It is essential that the Race Organisers abide by these age requirements in order that the appropriate insurances are not compromised.

Please note that no changing facilities will be available on the day.

If for any reason you are unable to run your number can be transferred to another individual up until the closing date of Sunday 19th July, please contact the Race Organiser through the email address below providing details of the new runner. No refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.
