Tough but friendly and scenic marathon on quiet country roads in Perthshire, Scotland - run by runners, for runners

 A challenging route with 500 metres of ascent, through beautiful Perthshire scenery on the quiet roads of Strathearn, starting and finishing at Cultybraggan Camp near Comrie. 

Organised and managed by club runners and volunteers, the Strathearn Marathon has become well known for its friendly atmosphere.

Popular trail race over one of Scotland's most scenic routes incorporating the 2026 Scottish Athletics National Mid Trail Championships for U20s and Seniors Note - Initial 10k race limit 300 - further 50 entries to be released dependent on demand - no entry on the day.  Entries will open at 15:00 on 28th March.  Sunday 12th July 2026 • Start Time 11.00 am
