This Festival is in a testing state, and is not open for public sign-ups until the organiser has launched it.

Organiser's Description

We really hope that you will enter the Race Against Blood Cancer Santa Sleigh 2023! We are really looking forward to the Event and to hopefully see you there. Don't forget to tell your friends and family as well!

Feeling lucky? Make sure that you buy yourself one or more Raffle tickets on the day.

Our Charity Ambassador  (Pro Boxer Liam Davies) will be taking part in the run, and with a guest appearance from Batman!

Details

At a glance:

  • Saturday 2nd December.
  • Registration opens at 8.30am
  • Both races start at 10.00am
  • Broadoaks Playing Field, Donnington, Telford 
    TF2 8AQ
  • All proceeds to Race Against Blood Cancer
  • Adults £12, £15 on the day. 
  • Children £6, £7 on the day. (all those that register online will receive a yummy Christmas Selection box!)
  • Chip timing, commentary, big race arch, instant results.

Bag drop: This will be located in The Little Theatre and is free. Doors will be locked after registration but we recommend that you do not leave any valuables.

Food / drink: Will there be hot and cold food and drink available, and if so will it accept card and / or cash? Yes - the Gourmet Catering van will be on site. Card and cash payments.

Car parking: Limited parking at The Little Theatre which is located on Broad oaks Playing field. To the left of The Little Theatre there are grass verges which can be parked on. Car park marshals will be able to assist. Please car share if you can.

Prizes: Fastest Female and male in 5k and Fun Run. Ther Presentation time will be published later.

Race Against Blood Cancer

Will you be appealing for potential donors on the day? Yes. Our Race Against Blood Cancer team will  have a stand to sign up potential stem cell donors to give every blood cancer patient an equal chance of finding a lifesaving match. 

Fancy dress: Please dress in any Christmas outfit and give the Event that extra Christmassey Fun Feeling!  The most creative Female and male in 10K and Fun Run will receive a mystery prize!

Race Against Blood Cancer is a non-profit charity whose goal it is to increase the volume and diversity of people who register as potentially life-saving donorsOur ultimate goal is to increase the number of people from minority groups – whether defined by race, ethnicity or gender – which are vastly underrepresented on the donor registry as stem cell or bone marrow donors.We can and will save lives by recruiting more minority donors.
