Introducing the Peterhead Summer 5k

Note - 5k race limit 200 - no entry on the day. 

Organised by Peterhead Athletics Club under UK Athletics rules

The race is held under SA permit, around a certified accurately measured course.  

Chip timed event.

• MALE     1st, 2nd & 3rd senior, 1st, 2nd & 3rd veteran, 1st 2nd & 3rd senior veteran and 1st, 2nd & 3rd vintage
• FEMALE 1st, 2nd & 3rd senior, 1st, 2nd & 3rd veteran, 1st 2nd & 3rd senior veteran and 1st, 2nd & 3rd vintage

Registration:  Will take place from 18:00 - 18:45 hrs at Catto Park Pavillion.

Race Briefing:  There will be a race briefing at the race start to go over any safety issues.

Please follow all instructions from race officials as they are there to ensure your safety. The route is mainly on pavements with a number of road crossings which will be marshalled. The roads on the race route are NOT closed for this event so be aware of other road traffic.  

Start Time:  The race will start prompt at 19:00, you will be walked from Catto Park 18:45 to start on the liney path.

Prizegiving 20:00hrs

General Information: There is car parking provided at Balmoor Stadium and Peterhead Academy.

The 5k event is open to runners aged 16 years or older
