We are Oswestry Olympians Athletic and Triathlon Club
Hello from north west Shropshire's finest running, athletics and triathlon community. We train, we race, we socialise, we have fun. Our friendly club caters for improvers to experienced marathon runners. Our triathlon section are a friendly bunch, with varied backgrounds, experience and achievement, training and racing in this exciting sport.

Seniors Membership fees
Due to our proximity to Wales, Oswestry Olympians is affiliated with both England Athletics and Welsh Athletics enabling members to register with either England Athletics or Welsh Athletics.
YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED MEMBER TO COMPETE AS AN OSWESTRY OLYMPIAN IN A UKA or FRA licensed RACE
Full years membership: £20.00
England Athletics registration fee: £20.00
Welsh Athletics registration fee: £23.00
Completely new club members who register with either body between Jan - Mar 2026 are registered until the 31 March 2027. This ONLY applies if you have NEVER been registered with EA or WA with ANY club before. Otherwise you will be liable for registration fees again when the new subscription year begins in April 2026.
All renewals must be complete by 30 June. Any previously registered athlete will not be able to compete if they have not renewed their membership and registration.

a) you joined as a completely new to athletics member between Jan - Mar 2025 and already have England or Welsh Athletics registration lasting until 31 Mar 2026. OR
b) you wish to join just the club as a social member (you will need to run as unattached/unregistered/unaffiliated if entering any races run under UKA or FRA rules).
Family membership attracts a discount of 20% per person on club membership. The full EA/WA registration fee applies. Each member must join individually. Type FAMILY in the family membership box.
When you join the club, you will be added to the UK Athletics data base either as a competitive runner (ie. registered with EA/WA) or a social runner (ie. un-registered).
England Athletics will use your personal details to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with England Athletics, please contact dataprotection@englandathletics.org
Details for members registering with Welsh Athletics are passed directly onto the Welsh Athletics Membership Secretary who adds the athletes details directly onto the portal. Unfortunately, due to the dual affiliation of Oswestry Olympians these members are unable to access the MyAthletics portal. If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with Welsh Athletics, please contact the office@welshathletics.org
