Join us for one of the toughest miles you will ever run!
The Murder Mile is a one mile race featured in Runner's World top 10 hardest races!
The course record is 7mins 49 seconds held by Jacob Tasker of Ogmore Phoenix Runners.
All participants must be over the age of 11 on race day. Entry fees are £5.00 for Affiliated Runners and £7.00 for Non-Affiliated Runners. There is a small booking charge. The UKA Race Licence has been applied for. All finishers will receive a beer at the finish (age appropriate).
Race HQ and registration will be at Pen Rhiwarwydd Farm where the finish line is situated. There is parking and bag storage available.
The race award ceremony will be held at The Church Inn, Mynyddislwyn.
There are prizes for 1st Male and Female, and 1st Junior Male and Junior Female, who must be under the age of 16 on race day.
There is a cash prize of £30 for breaking the course record.
Entries close on 28th August 2025. There are limited places available so don't miss out! Race day information will be emailed out to all participants before the race. Collect your race numbers at the registration desk.
Limited entries on the day will also be available.
All running abilities are welcome however the course is undulating and unsuitable for wheelchair athletes. We will ask you for a predicted race time on registration, this is to help us plan locations and timing of our volunteers.
Once entered there are no cancellations or deferrals. If you wish to transfer your place to another runner you can do so via your Entry Central login before 28th August 2025
