**BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND**
The Monymusk Muddy Run comprises of four fun trail races of differing lengths for age's 5 to 15 years old.
The event takes place in the grounds of the picturesque Monymusk Estate on tarmac and rough tracks with the kind permission of the Grant Family.
The routes build on the feedback received from previous years and allow for spectators to be present all around the course.

Race timings:
1 km for ages 5 and 6 - 2.00pm race start
1 mile for ages 7 and 8 - 2.20pm race start
1 mile for ages 9, 10 and 11 - 2.40pm race start
2 miles for ages 12 to 15 - 3.00pm race start
ENTRY FEE
All races £8.00 via entry central which includes a finisher medal, water and fruit.
Please note pre on-line entry only and NO entries will be accepted on the day.
On-line Entries close Friday 30th June 2023.
By entering this race, you acknowledge the run is a genuine trail race with natural hazards. Every effort will be made to highlight the hazards but parents and children should be aware of the inherent risk of running in a natural environment.
All proceeds go to Monymusk School Parent Council.
REGISTRATION
Registration is at Monymusk Village Hall in the centre of the Village and will be clearly signposted on the day.
Registration will commence from 12.30pm and close 20 minutes before the race time. Race Numbers and safety pins will be issued at registration.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Health and Safety
Clear route maps will be posted for all routes.
All routes are extensively sign posted and well marshalled. Safety is paramount and we expect runners to follow the advice of marshals at all times. The route is a trail race and underfoot will contain a variety of hazards including uneven surfaces, tree roots, stones and mud!
As the routes are on private land, please respect that strictly no dogs are allowed on the race routes.
PARKING
Car parking is available at Monymusk school and other areas designated by the parking marshals. Please do not park at the village hall as this is the event centre with many people walking about.
FACILITIES
Toilet facilities are available at registration. Please ensure that all rubbish is collected and deposited in one of the many bins that will be provided.
RACE START AND FINISH
All runners must be at the Start line at times noted above.
Results timing and placings will be sent via email to all entrants with an email address after the event
PHOTOGRAPHS
If you do not wish for photographs taken on the day to be used for publicity or during a slideshow of the event, please advise organisers.
REFRESHMENTS
Each runner will receive a medal, water and fruit. Cakes, tea, coffee and soup will be available from 12.30pm in Monymusk Hall with all proceeds going toward school funds.
RACE PRIZES
Prizes will be given to the first three girls and first three boys in each race with all competitors receiving a medal. The prize giving will be at Monymusk Hall at approx 4pm.
