Our Maggie’s Chase isn’t just a race — it’s a chance to support a vital local charity while enjoying one of Falkirk’s most beautiful natural spaces. Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, you’ll be part of something meaningful.

Nestled beside the beautiful woodland trails surrounding Forth Valley Royal Hospital, this year’s event brings runners into a stunning natural setting. Both routes will guide athletes through peaceful forest paths, circling the loch before heading toward a memorable finish right outside the Maggie’s Centre itself.

A Charity Event Supporting Maggie’s Forth Valley

If you’d like to support the amazing work Maggie’s Forth Valley does for people living with cancer and their families, you can use the Maggie’s fundraiser link included in your email confirmation pack. Any donations made through this link go directly to Maggie’s Forth Valley. You will recive your own personalised event fundrasing page and a free Maggies Running Vest.

There’s absolutely no obligation to fundraise, but for anyone who wishes to take part, a suggested target of £100 can make a meaningful difference.

                                           Maggie's Chase will start & finish at Maggies Centre

Event Details: 

Start & Finish: Maggie’s Centre, Larbert

Runners will set off from the Maggie’s Centre, heading alongside Larbert Hospital then cutting into the surrounding forest paths. The course winds through tranquil woodland, offering views of Maggies Pond and local wildlife before looping back toward the finish line.

Mixed surfaces: woodland paths, tarmac sections, and gentle gradients. Road or Trail shoes are suitable for this event.

5K Route: Scenic route through the forest, with a stunning finishing loop around Maggies Pond back to the start.

10K Route: Scenic route through the forest, with a stunning loop around Maggies Pond, through the start and back out for another loop with a magical finishing loop back round Maggies Pond.

Finish Line: A scenic final stretch around Maggies Pond, finishing proudly at Maggie’s Centre.

Minimum Age: 15+

09:00 am 5k race starts = 1 loop

09:10 am 10k race starts = 2 loops

Prize giving straight after each event finishes.
