LEOMINSTER 5K OR 10K ROAD RACE
Join us on Monday 31st August for our Summer Bank Holiday 5k or 10k race, a popular chip timed event along the quiet country lanes of Leominster.
Choose between our fast and flat 5K course or our gently undulating 10K route which takes in all of the fast 5K route
Race HQ is at Halo Leisure, Bridge Street, HR6 8EA.
Race information;
Race Date: Monday 31st August 2026 – It's a Bank Holiday!
Start Times:
5K Race will start at 8.45am
10K Race will start at 9.15am.
Entries:
5K Entry Fees: £14.00 - Affiliated / £16.00 - Unattached (Minimum age on Race Day is 11)
10K Entry Fees: £17.00 - Affiliated /£19.00 - Unattached (Minimum age on Race Day is 15)
Event Limit 300
ALL ENTRANTS MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE, NO ON THE DAY SIGN UPS PERMITTED.
Race HQ: Halo Leisure, Bridge Street Sports Centre, Bridge Street, Leominster, HR6 8EA
Parking: There is limited parking available at Bridge Street Sports Centre, CHARGES APPLY. Other car parks are available near by.
Facilities: Toilets available on site.
Refreshments: Water will be provided post-race for the 5K Race and a water station will be in place that is passed twice on the 10K route.
First Aid: Full medical event cover will be in place.
Course Details:
5K is an out and back course on flat country lanes.
10K is an undulating course following the scenic country lanes of Leominster.
Medals: Every finisher will receive a medal.
Prizes: Male and Female Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed in both events.

Terms And Conditions
By signing up each individual agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. As an England Athletics affiliated organiser (7693574) this event is to be held under UK Athletics rules with a full race license. The individual agrees to abide by the rules of the event and that the officials' decision is final.
2. Strictly NO HEADPHONES to be worn throughout the race other than bone conducting headphones. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
3. The provided number race bibs will be worn by all competitors, always ensuring visible. Race numbers must not be cut or folded.
4. The individual confirms that they have no medical disability that would endanger themselves or others by taking part (and will not run if unfit to do so on the day).
5. The individual understands that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or illness howsoever caused as a result of entering the race. The individual agrees that during the race they will obey marshals' instructions. No dogs will be allowed on the course.
6. If for any reason beyond the control of the organisers the race has to be cancelled on the day (Adverse weather, “Act of god”, Flooding, Accidents, Incidents, COVID-19 restrictions etc) the organisers will do everything possible to reschedule the race.
7. Entries cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled. At the organisers discretion you may be able to transfer to the following year. Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of an Event will be limited to the refund as set out in these terms and conditions. We will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of our negligence or other breach of statutory duty
8. Transfers – are atthe discretion of th eorganiser and only available until August 20th 2026.
9. All entrants shall be deemed to have made themself familiar with and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK. For added clarification, the date of entry is the date of the event
10. The Organiser reserves the right to alter the course, start time, or event format if necessary for safety or operational reasons. Reasonable effort will be made to inform competitors of any changes as soon as possible.
11. Personal information provided during entry will be used for event administration and timing. Participant names, club details, categories, and finish times may be published publicly in start lists and results. Data will be handled in accordance with relevant data protection legislation.
12. By entering, you consent to your image being used for event promotion and publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must inform the Organiser in advance. The organiser and event partners may take photos and videos during the event.

All the information required for this race are in this email, should there be any amendments prior to the race we will be in touch via email a couple of days before.
