LEIGH-ON-SEA 10k & 5k

27th October 2024, 1800 (6pm) start time

An after-dark 10km multi-terrain run through the best that Leigh-on-Sea has to offer. And this year, to celebrate our 15th birthday we're hosting a 5k race too!
 
Join us for a spooky Halloween themed evening of fun & running on either 5 or 10k! Our event promotes safe night-time running, is focused on sustainability and enjoyment and chip timed, with a prize for each finisher as well as our customary glass of prosecco. Headtorches or body torches are mandatory, fancy dress in optional! We do have a bonus prize for the latter. 
 

This year we will be supporting Alzheimer's Society with all race proceeds donated to support.

Dementia is the biggest health and social challenge of our time. There are currently estimated to be 900,000 people in the UK with dementia. Many are undiagnosed and facing the realities of their condition alone. As a Society, and with the help of our supporters, we’re changing that.

With your help we can give vital support to those who need it most, hold decision-makers to account, and fund groundbreaking research to transform the future for everyone living with dementia.

For each sign-up, the organiser pays the Service Fee of 4% (min 50p). You pay no surcharge
