The Inverurie Scout Group (Scottish Charity No. SCO18382) are fundraising for an International trip in Summer 2025 and also the venue Ury Riverside Park Project (Scottish Charity No. SCO46919).  The fundraising will allow all children who would like to attend the opportunity to experience new cultures and experiences, regardless of financial position.  At inverurie scout group we believe in inclusivity and community, and this means ensuring all children have the ability to attend if they want and not just those who can afford it. 

The funds raised will be shared with the host site - Ury Riverside Park. Riverside Park is a 61ha community park for people and wildlife to enjoy together.  The Park is being developed by the community for the community from a former barley field to create somewhere special for wildlife and people.  A great place to walk, jog, volunteer to help create habitats or watch wildlife.

The races are starting at 9.30am with the kids 1km, 10.15am for the 3km and 11am for the 5km.  There will be handmade medals for all participants as well as a small prize for the first place runners! 

We are happy for folks to walk, jog or run, it's all about taking part!
