Holbrook Quarter Marathon.  There are two courses of approx 6.7 miles and approx 4 miles. Start times at intervals between 10.30am and 12.00pm.  Results will be on the Mid Essex Casuals website after the event.  Registration will open at 10.00am and close at 11.45am.

You'll set off in small groups with a written narrative route.  The route is un-marshaled and there are no checkpoints.  Walkers are also welcome - please start before 11.30 if walking the longer route.  

Hosted by  Mid Essex Casuals and held under UK Athletics rules.  TRA permit applied for.  This event is part of the MEC Quarter Marathon summer series 2025.  This event is raising money for the Shelley Centre for Therapeutic Riding. 

TRA rules mean dogs are not allowed with participants but the pub is dog friendly and there are several lovely walks in the immediate location for a supporter.

Entry fee; £7 affiliated £9 unaffiliated (plus 50p online entry fee).  Entries will be available on the day if places are still available - on the day entries will be £8 and £10.  Places cannot be transferred to another of the events in this series.

Entry fee includes a £3 voucher to spend in The Swan on your return.  Parking in the area is limited please park with consideration as directed by marshals on the day.  There is no bag storage area - please leave all your belongings in your car.
