HEREFORDSHIRE 5,000m Track Championships

Races start from 7pm.

The Herefordshire County 10,000m, 5,000m and 1 Mile Championships have been a regular & successful part of the Herefordshire running calendar for a number of years & we look forward to these races returning this summer. 

This entry is for the 5,000m event. 

*Pre-Entry is advisable so we know number for each race - Entries will be £4.00 on the night. 

Entries are open to all runners who were either born in the county or have lived here for the past 9 months - the race organisers may contact you to confirm this.

• Race Date: Wednesday 23rd August 2022
• Starting Time: Races to start from 7pm, the timetable of events to be confirmed. 
• Entries: £3.00 Minimum age 15, Numbers to be collected on the night. 
• Age Groups for the race: U17, U20, Senior & Veterans
• Venue: Hereford Leisure Centre Athletics Track, Holmer Road, Hereford. 
• Facilities/ Parking: Toilets are available at the leisure centre who also have onsite parking which is pay and display. 
• Distance/ Terrain: 5,000m / Track.
• Course Licence: Licence number to follow. 
• Prizes: Category prizes for Juniors, Seniors and Vets. 

Terms And Conditions

• The entrant must agree to the following terms and conditions.
• This event is to be held under UK Athletics rules. Race Licence applied for. The entrant agrees to abide by the rules of the event and that the officials' decision is final.
• The entrant confirms that they have no medical disability that would endanger themselves or others by taking part (and will not run if unfit to do so on the day).
• The deadline for transfers or withdrawals for this event is the 22/08/2023. Failure to notify us before this time will result in no further edits or refunds for your entry. 
• The entrant understands that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or illness howsoever caused as a result of entering the race.  The entrant agrees that during the race they will obey marshals' instructions. No dogs will be allowed on the course.
• If for any reason beyond our control the race has to be cancelled on the day (“Act of god” Flooding, Accidents, incidents etc) we cannot guarantee a full refund or that the race will be rescheduled. We will however do everything possible to resolve any unfortunate situation.
