HALLOWEEN 5K & FAMILY FUN RUN 2024

Race information;

Race Date: Sunday 27th October 2024

Start Time: 5K starts at 11.00am - Chip timed race. Family Fun starts at 10:30am (details below)

Entries: Entry Fees: £12.00 – Affiliated / £14.00 – Unattached.

Race Limit 70 - Minimum age 11 on day of event. 

Race HQ: Halo Leisure Centre, Hereford, HR4 9UD

Number Collection: All bibs will be available for collection from race HQ between 10am  and 10.30am.

Chip Timing: The race is run with reusable chips; these are worn on your ankle and will be handed out with your number. Chips and ankle bracelets will be collected in at the end, failure to do so may occur and additional charge.

Bag Drop: There is no bag drop at the event, all belongings are left at your own risk

Parking: Parking available at the leisure centre CHARGES APPLY

Facilities: Toilets available within the leisure centre.

Refreshments: Water available post-race. 

Distance/Terrain: 5km/3.1miles - off road

Course Details: 2 and a bit loops of the Hereford Race Course track

Family Fun Run: A short distance fun run for all ages, fancy dress optional but encouraged. Adults can run with children if they wish. £5 per entrant, entries on the day, payment via cash or card. All entrants will recieve a medal and there will be spot prizes given out on the day. 

Medals: Every finisher for both the 5K and Fun Run will receive a Halloween themed medal.

Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed Male and Female in the 5K.

Terms And Conditions

1. By signing up each individual agrees to the following terms and conditions.
2. As an England Athletics affiliated organiser (7693574) this event is to be held under UK Athletics rules with a full race license. The individual agrees to abide by the rules of the event and that the officials' decision is final.
3. The individual confirms that they have no medical disability that would endanger themselves or others by taking part (and will not run if unfit to do so on the day).
4. The individual understands that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or illness howsoever caused as a result of entering the race.  The individual agrees that during the race they will obey marshals' instructions. No dogs will be allowed on the course.
5. If for any reason beyond the control of the organisers the race has to be cancelled on the day (Adverse weather, “Act of god”, Flooding, Accidents, Incidents, COVID-19 restrictions etc) the organisers will do everything possible to reschedule the race.
6. The individual will not attend should they feel unwell or show any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 - it is recommended that all entrants, volunteers and spectators take a lateral flow test prior to attending the event.
7. Transfers are at the organisters discretion.
