Organiser's Description

The Heb Tri challenges people to take part in standard triathlon distances of 1.5km swim, 40km cycle & 10km run on the scenic west side of the Isle of Lewis, in the Western Isles of Scotland.

There's the option of entering as an individual or as a team of 2 (Strictly swimmer plus cyclist/runner combination only). All participants must be aged 17 or over before the end of the year.

Entry fee's are non-refundable but entries can be transferred to another person with the prior agreement of the organiser's should you have someone to take your place. Should the event have to be cancelled for any reason entry fee's will be refunded in full. The event has applied to be sanctioned by Triathlon Scotland.

Race Pass: If you are not a member of Triathlon Scotland or another Home Nation, then you need to purchase a Race Pass to be insured on race day. This option will be offered to you automatically when signing up. For more information visit the British Triathlon website: https://www.britishtriathlon.org/race-pass Team entries with a single Triathlon association member should ensure the member completes the signup to receive the discount.

We will deliver the event within Scottish Triathlon guidelines in place on the 27th of July and all competitors must agree to follow the appropriate measures that apply on that date.

 

Prices

For each sign-up, the organiser pays the Service Fee of 4% (min 50p). You pay no surcharge

A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not a British Triathlon Home Nation member. For this event, Race Pass costs are £2.00 for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 otherwise.
