The George and The Dragon.  There are two courses of approx 9.5 miles and approx 4.5 miles. Start times at intervals between 11.00am and 12.00pm (long course) and 11.30 and 12.30 (short course)  Results will be on the Mid Essex Casuals website after the event.  Registration will open at 10.45am and close at 12.15pm.

You'll set off in small groups with a written narrative route.  The route is un-marshaled and there are no checkpoints.  Walkers are also welcome - please start before 11.30 if walking the longer route.  

Hosted by  Mid Essex Casuals and held under UK Athletics rules.  TRA permit applied for.  This event is raising money for the Shelley Centre for Therapeutic Riding. 

Participants are not allowed to run/walk with dogs. Min age for the short race is 16 and for the long race 17.

Entry fee; £6 affiliated £8 unaffiliated (plus 50p online entry fee).  Entries close on St George's Day.  A very limited number of entries will be available on the day subject to availability - on the day entries will be £8 and £10.  Online entry also offers the chance to make a donation to the charity - thank you if you are able to do so.

Entry fee includes a £3 voucher to spend in The George on your return.  There is no parking at the pub for this event please use the nearby public car parks - Magdalen Road Long Stay is advised (£2 for 4 hours)  There is no bag storage area - please leave all your belongings in your car.
