Running Somewhere Else invite you to compete in the Fairford 10K road race.
Under 18's must be registered by a parent/guardian.
This is a Gloucestershire AAA County Race.

Start / Finish
HQ Fairford Cricket Club, Park Street, Fairford, Glos, GL7 4JJ.
Facilities include water station, toilets, secure baggage area, plus refreshments.
Large car park available close to the venue. This is free however a small donation to the Rugby Club towards the upkeep of the field would be greatly appreciated. A bucket will be at Race HQ.
All finishers will receive a medal.
Fairford Festival
The Fairford 10K race is timed to coincide with the Fairford Festival which includes food, and a wine and beer festival. Please do stay and enjoy the festivities after the race!
Entry
This race is by online entry only. Race numbers may be switched between runners only with the prior agreement of the organisers and all changes must be requested before 1st June 2026. Contact the Race Director via racedirector@runningsomewhereelse.com
Under 18's will require a parent/guardian to register them for this Event.
Race numbers to be collected on the day, please leave enough time for collection.
Runners who knowingly run in another person’s name will be disqualified.
This race will be chip timed. Subject to available spaces, entries will be taken on the day (£19.00 affiliated / £21.00 unaffiliated) if available, but entering in advance is strongly advised as this race has sold out quickly in the last few years.
The Course
The 10K route is run on country roads which remain open to traffic, but are very quiet. The course is an undulating loop which takes runners out of Fairford and through Quenington before a gentle downhill all the way back to Fairford town centre.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in as follows, 1st , 2nd 3rd Male / Female . Prizes will be available for Age category winners MV40, 50, 60 & 70 FV35, 45, 55, 65. Male and Female Team prize first 3 to count. There will also be a prize for the first male and female Fairford residents.
Results will be posted on the club website as soon as possible after the event.
Entry Fees
UKA-affiliated runners £17.00, Non-affiliated runners £19.00 (non refundable).
Entries on the day £19.00/£21.00 (if spaces are available).
We regret that the course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes or runners with buggies or dogs.
