Fleet Feet Triathletes Westhill Duathlon 2026

With the aim of continuing to promote multisport racing in the North‑East of Scotland, Fleet Feet Triathletes are delighted to welcome you to the Fleet Feet Triathletes Westhill Duathlon 2026. This will be the third edition organised by Fleet Feet Triathletes, who have revitalised the event after it was previously run by Aberdeenshire Council.

As in the past editions, we aim to keep the event simple, friendly and affordable. Chip timing will once again be provided on the day by Thistle Timing. Prize money of £100, £75, and £50 will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category (Open and Female). In addition, the winner of each Triathlon Scotland age group listed below will receive a prize equivalent to the entry fee.

Sprint Duathlon – 4.2km Run / 16km Bike / 4.2km Run

• Age categories: Junior C and Senior 1-2 (18-29), Senior 3-4 (30-39), Veterans 1-2 (40-49), Veterans 3-4 (50-59), Veterans 5-6 (60-69), Veterans 7-8-9 (>70)

Registration will open at 8.00am on the day of the event and will close at 9.30am. The race briefing will be at 9.45am in the transition area in order to ensure the duathlon commences at 10am. 

Race Pass

A race pass provides you with insurance cover during racing and training with triathlon clubs and is mandatory for racing in British Triathlon sanctioned events. They are available either for a year as part of Core and Ultimate memberships with governing body Triathlon Scotland, or on a race by race basis (£2 for athletes aged up to 24 years and £8 for those aged 24 or over). Those without an annual race licence will pay a higher entry fee which will include the cost of a race pass. Alternatively, you may join Triathlon Scotland prior to the race. Refund and Cancellation Policy 

By entering you are confirming that you have read and understood the following policy.  In the unfortunate event you need to withdraw from the race please could you let the organisers know at the earliest opportunity. At the organiser's discretion, 75% refunds (minus credit card processing fees) will be issued to any competitor who withdraws from the event more than 28 days before the event. Withdrawals after that date will receive a similar refund if, and only if the competitor's place can be filled from a waiting list. No Refunds will be issued after the event closing date.

We will endeavour to make any information on race modifications public as quickly as possible, but we will always follow BTF guidelines on weather and modifications to race timings or distances may occur which are outside of our control.  We reserve the right to make changes to the race distances, format in line with BTF guidance. 

If for any reason the race needs to be cancelled in advance we will refund you the race entry minus admin fees.  

Entry Exchanges

We do not offer a facility to exchange entry places prior to the event under any circumstances.  This also applies to people arriving at the event wishing to take another person's place.  Identities are carefully checked at Event Registration and any "substitutes" will be rejected. 

Data policy

By entering any Fleet Feet race, entrants give the organisers clear and positive consent to use limited personal data for the specific purposes of organising the race (start lists, age categories, published results, timing systems, emergency contact details, relevant medical data, race information, pre-post race information).  Your contact information only will also be passed to British Triathlon as part of the event permitting process.

Training

It is your responsibility to arrive on race day prepared for the demands of the race and as such we strongly advise undertaking appropriate bike and run training.
