Organiser's Description

    We are delighted and very proud to present a brand new event with the Falkirk area.

 

                                                      "Maggie's 5K & 10K Chase" 

 

                                                        Sunday 8th November 2025.

 

In support with Maggie's Forth Valley we are delighted to be able to donate all proceedings from our 1st event to this great charity. Buckets will be available at registration should you wish to donate any loose change. Maggie's volunteers will be on hand to help out. So please give them a big shout out!

                  Maggie's Chase will start & finish within the Kinnaird Village 

 

Both events will be an out and back race. With the 5k turning point at Plane Castle. The 10k turning point will be another 2.5k past this. A water station will be available at the 5k turning point. This will be a low key event with manual timing and prizes for the top 3 male & female of both events.  

 

Plane Castle, located in FK2 8SF, is situated in a picturesque area of Scotland, offering a blend of historical significance and natural beauty. The region is characterized by its scenic landscapes, making it an ideal setting for outdoor activities, including running events.

Water and feed stations (please bring your refillable cups if you can, as part of our sustainability policy we are looking at minimizing landfills and will be providing recyclable paper cups.The route will be fully marked and supported by our volunteers.

 Parking:

Parking will only be at Kinnaird Primary School McIntyre Ave, Larbert FK5 4TQ followed by a short walk to registration. Registration details might change closer to the time. There will be marshals on hand to direct you. Please leave enough time for your approx 1km walk to registration to start.

 08:00 Registration opens (Please collect your race number) Safety pins will be provided or please use a racebelt.

09:00 10k race starts

09:10 5k race starts

 

We reserve the right to start the prizegiving once 90% of all entrants have completed the course

Age Restrictions:

You must be at least 15 years old to enter this event.

Cancellation:

In the event of awful weather, we may be forced to postpone the race for safety reasons, the race will be rescheduled and all runners will be automatically re-entered and informed via our Facebook page. If you are unable to make the rescheduled date then a 25% refund can be made.

Participant withdrawal/refund policy:

If for any reason after registration, you wish to withdraw from the event: Anytime up until 30 days from the date of the event you can log into entrycentral and organise a transfer with someone you know or email us for a 50% refund. Between 30 days and 14 days, you can log into Entrycentral and transfer with someone you know or email for a 25% refund. Participants who do not attend the event will not receive any form of refund/credit. During the event, no refunds/credit will be given.
