Organisers would prefer online entry but entry is also available on the day

All runners will start together on the trail just up from Eildon Mains. 

From 2026 the junior Hill Running League age categories are: U18 (born 2009-2010), U16 (born 2011-2012), U14 (born 2013-2014).

Eildon Junior race routes by age category:

• U14 Blue Route 3k 
• U16 Red Route 4k
• U18 Green Roure 6k 

The U20's category is not included. However U20's can enter the senior race.

16 May Broughton Heights (IYC U18 Trial Race), nr Biggar*

6 Jun Braemar Junior Highland Games, Braemar

20 Junior Eildon Junior Race, Eildon Mains TD6 9HB. 

16 Aug Cademuir Rollercoaster (JHI Trial Race), Peebles

19 Sept Suidhe Hill Race, Kincraig*

* Ten bonus points awarded in these races

Gala Harriers will operate under Scottish Athletics guidance. There will be parking along the Bogle burn road.  Organisers recommend that traffic approach the race from Newtown St Boswells and avoid parking near the crematorium and cemetery as there may be a service on the day of the race.
